Ceremony

Every stage of a woman’s life is encircled in ceremony and rites of passage.
Ceremony is a witnessing of becoming your truest self. When we are held and witnessed through these rites of passage, we fully integrate each stage of womanhood and walk empowered by the women who came before us and who stand beside us.
I offer ceremony for each stage including menarche, before and after birth, wise woman years and beyond.

Ceremonies Offered through Womanhood

Rising Moon Rising Woman

For girls/teens at the onset of Menarche.
Menarche marks the beginning of becoming Woman. Young Women, Maidens, are celebrated with the women who are most influential in their life.
Ceremony is given anytime after the maiden has begun menarche.

Blessingway

For Women entering into the magic of birth.
Surrounded with the people she loves, the Mother is lifted up in prayer and blessings as she prepares to open to new life.
Ceremony is offered in the last trimester of pregnancy.

Closing of the Bones

For Women who have given birth.
In birth, we open to new life and enter into the cosmos to bring our baby home to us. Closing of the Bones is a time of closing the body and bringing the mother back to herself.
Ceremony is offered anytime postpartum,
in the first week or even years after birth.

Nourished Baby Nurtured Mama

Ceremony to mark the end of breastfeeding or the end of the childbearing years.
When baby weans and Mother-Baby start to become two, Mother is witnessed in the magic of having carried life, nourished life, and is held as she moves into her next phase of Womanhood.
Ceremony is offered anytime after
the breastfeeding journey closes
or when the childbearing years are closed.

Wise Woman

As Women enter into their wise years, marked by a time of the end of menses, they are celebrated and lifted up in their role as Wise Women.
Respected and Valued deeply by their community, Wise Women step into their role of mentoring the younger women, offering sage advice and support.
Ceremony is offered when a woman is in her wise years and ready to step into her role as Wise Woman of her community.

Ceremony is offered through donation. All donations go toward covering postpartum care for families who cannot afford it.
In this way, you are supporting mothers and families to receive the care they need during the postpartum time.
Community supported postpartum care nurtures thriving mothers. Thriving mothers nurture community.
