I am Michelle, Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, walking on this path of sacred medicine. As a mother of four, I have experienced the holy beauty of surrendering to my sacred feminine and loving from my center. Motherhood has grown me into the woman I am today, bringing to light the shadow of my being and calling me into deeper connection. I am passionate about walking with women through each stage of womanhood. My lifework is to lift women in sacred space, in mother-arms, to connect deeply within, and to live wholly in their divinely designed body. You will find, in this space, an open arms invitation to be wholly yourself--wrapped in a mother’s embrace, knowing your wisdom and being empowered to stand in the truth of your bones.
I would like to acknowledge the women who walked with me on this journey of becoming and my ancestors who paved the path I am now on.
My GreatGreatGrandmother, Mary Melissa Isabel Fleming Fisher, who was a midwife and carried the wisdom of plants and love of God our Creator.
My GreatGrandmother, Lenora Delana Oppenheim, who carried the knowledge of the plants and foraged daily.
My Mother, Margaret Evelyn Graves Cone Schreve, who shares her heart openly with me. I am the woman I am today because of her.
My First Daughter, Arielle Michelle, who’s strong willed nature pushed me to grow as a woman and set my own much needed boundaries, who teaches me daily, and who’s generous spirit nourishes my soul.
My Youngest Daughter, Amelia Maizy, who has taught me that we all are healers.
My Midwife, Rebecca Price Wood, who was the first person to tell me I mattered, who walked with me through the hardest journey of my motherhood and spoke words that were hard to hear but so necessary in becoming the stronger woman I am today.
My Friend, Raven McGinnity, Medicine Woman, who walked with me through the transition of the closing of a decade of pregnancies and breastfeeding, who encourages me to travel deeper into my knowing, and who inspires me every day.
And each of my dear friends who walked with me through each phase of womanhood, and witnessed me becoming who I am, held me in love, encouraged me to follow my creative center, and allowed me to rest in their friendship.
My teachers: Whapio-elder midwife, Rachelle Garcia Seliga-midwife, Innate Traditions, and her husband Jose Juan Garcia Alfaro-who gifted me the rebozo wisdom, Kate White-pre and perinatal psychology, Marti Glenn-pre and perinatal psychology, Darcia Narvaez, Ray Castellino-pre and perinatal psychology, Jonathan Evans-osteopathy, Tami Lyn Kent-womb wisdom, Rosalee de la Foret-herbal medicine, Rosemary Gladstar-herbal medicine, Kami McBride-herbal medicine, Amy Wright Glenn-bereavement, pregnancy and infant loss, study of Birth, Breath, and Death, Stillbirthday-bereavement, pregnancy and infant loss.
